The postponed varsity football game vs. Woodlawn from Friday, October 19th, 2012 will be played on Monday, October 22nd, 2012 at 6:00 PM at the PHHS Stadium.  All tickets from Friday night’s game will be honored.  For individuals unable to attend the game on Monday, the tickets will also be valid for the November 2nd, 2012 game against Hereford at the PHHS Stadium.

Please note that our 3rd Annual Pink Out game scheduled for October 22nd has been rescheduled for October 29th against Mercy High School.  JV will start at 3:45pm and Varsity will follow at 5pm.

Hope to see you in pink at the game!  We will also be selling t-shirts for $10 each, among other pink accessories, in limited supplies.

Summary:

Perry Hall defeated Dundalk 2-1 on Friday.  Alex Holtschneider scored in the 23rd minute off a through ball by Justin Ornelas.  Perry Hall continued to press for the rest of the half but could not get the ball in the net.  Dundalk’s Sean Geary hit a beautiful shot over in the 62nd minute to even the score.  Perry Hall junior Nicky Jones hit a 25 yard strike 2 minutes later that went into the upper, far corner of the goal giving the Gators the win.  Perry Hall is now 8-3-1 (6-0 in the County) and secured a spot in the Baltimore County Final.

Summary:  Rob Allman scored in the 8th minute off an assist by Matt Holtschneider to lead the Gators over Loch Raven.  Perry Hall had several opportunities to score again, most notably in the second half when Justin Ornelas followed up his own shot and then hit the post.  It was the second straight shutout for the Gators.

Halftime: PH 1-0

Summary:
Perry Hall (6-3-1, 4-0) defeated Towson 3-0 in a Baltimore County Divisional matchup. The Gators scored in the 13th minute when sophomore Justin Spencer beat two Towson defenders and crossed the ball to fellow striker James Canoles who finished it on the far post.

Towson had several chances in the first half from long throw-ins by Garrett Gischel who launched them deep inside the Perry Hall box. Goalkeeper Austin Kroll caught or punched most of them, but had to save one off the line.  In the run of play, junior back Justin Ornelas was able to control the middle of the field for the Gators and stop a lot of Towson’s counter attacks.

In the second half, senior Rob Allman brought the Gators back on the attack. Allman volleyed a cross in to the net off a service by midfielder Tyler Link in the 43rd minute. Seven minutes later, Allman received a through ball from Nicky Jones and was able to tuck it into the far post.
