Perry Hall Varsity Cheerleading WINS 3A/4A County Title!

Perry Hall Varsity Cheerleading have won their 3rd Baltimore County Title in a row last night at New Town High School. Finishing with a score of 123.7, they advance to Semi-Finals ranked 2nd in the state! Coached by Brian Savage, this is his 3rd title with the team and will be his 6th season in a row making to the Semi/Regional Competition. 3A/4A Semi-Finals will be this Saturday, February 6th at Harford Community College starting at 10am. 12642760_868295186601768_2422402073634844714_n

Varsity Baseball Defeats Paint Branch; Advances to State Semifinals

Perry Hall goes on the road and defeats Paint Branch 8-1 to advance to the state final four at college park on Tuesday.  Perry Hall last made it to the state semis in 2003.

Jake Chavis throws a complete game 2 hitter.

The gator offense was lead by Andrew Yu(headed to the United States Naval Academy) with 3 hits, a 2 run HR and 3 RBI. Ben Libercci 2 run HR. Jake Chavis 2 hits, triple and 2 RBI. Josh Benzing 2 hits and RBI.

Varsity Baseball Defeats Catonsville, Advances to Sweet 16

gatorchompcolor.jpgPerry Hall defeats Catonsville 8-2 to advance to the sweet 16 against Dulaney on Wednesday at Dulaney 4pm.

Jake Chavis scattered 5 hits over 6 innings and Ben Libercci gets the save retiring the side in the 7th. Josh Benzing took a grand slam away from Catonsville in the top of the 6th with a catch at the fence.

The gator offense was lead by Andrew Yu going 2 for 3, HR and 3RBI and Josh Benzing with a sixth inning grand slam. Pete Gaither setup the sixth with a sac bunt that put players at 2nd and 3rd.

Varsity Baseball Defeats Parkville

Perry Hall shutout Parkville 9-0 on a 3 hitter by Noah Gaylor on senior day.

This win clinched a #2 seed, first round bye and a home game in the regional playoffs starting next Friday.

Andrew Yu (heading to the United States Naval Academy) hit a 3 run HR.  Tyler Pusloski and Ben Libercci had multi hit games while Dakota Kurek knocked in 2 RBI for the gators.

Varsity Baseball Defeats Eastern Tech

Perry Hall defeated Eastern Tech 14 – 2 with 21 gator hits.

Ben Libercci got the win giving up just 3 hits.

The gators had 7 players with multi hit games:

Tyler Pusloski, Jake Chavis, Jeremiah Blake, Andrew Yu, Ben Libercci, Alec Proulx and Corey Johnson.

Alec Proulx hit a 3 run HR for the gators.

Varsity Baseball Defeats Loyola

Perry Hall defeats Loyola 5-2

Jake Chavis strikes out 6 and allows just 2 Don hits to help secure a gator win.

Varsity Baseball Defeats Hereford

Perry Hall shuts out Hereford for the second time in as many games 6-0.

Ben Libercci pitched 6 innings of 1 hit baseball. He struck out 5. Ben went 2 for 4 at the plate to help his cause. Andrew Yu closed out pitching the 7th inning.

Josh Benzing lead the offensive attack with a grand slam in the 5th inning(his 4th HR of the season).

The gators had multi hit games from Tyler Pusloski, Ben, Jeremiah Blake, Jake Chavis(3 hits) and Pete Gaither.

Next up for the Gators: a big divisional game against Dulaney tomorrow(Wednesday) at Dulaney 3:45pm.

JV Baseball Defeats Hereford

The Gators JV Baseball team had a stunning come from behind victory on Saturday over Hereford 7 to 6.  The team scored 4 runs in the top of the 7th inning to fight back from a 6-2 deficit.  After the gators had given up 4 runs to Hereford in the bottom of the sixth relinquishing their 3-2 lead, Noah Supensky started the inning off with a single. After a strikeout, Trevor Rogers added another single.  The team was down to their last out after a flyout but Kennard Gardner extended the game with a single and RBI.  Rex Marshall followed with another single and RBI. Wendell Williams drew a walk which loaded the bases with the Gators still trailing 6-5.  Glenn Dargan stepped up to the plate and with two strikes and the team down to their last strike, he delivered a single to right field knocking in the tying and winning runs for the gators.  It was a comeback for the ages.  Congratulations to all the players.gatorchompcolor.jpg

Jake Chavis pitched a complete game 4 hitter, no walks and 6 strikeouts.

The gator offense was lead by Josh Benzing 4 for 4 with a home run (3rd of the season) and 2 RBI. Ben Libercci, Jeremiah Blake and Jake Chavis had multi hit games.
