Perry Hall 4 Eastern Tech 1
Connor Gwin scored two goals, both off of assists from Colin Weyant, to lead the Gators over Eastern Tech. Andrew Yu opened the scoring in the first half off of a cross by Justin Spencer to give the Gators a 1-0 lead. Jack Muller added a fourth goal with 12 minutes remaining. The Gators finish their regular season at 9-3-1.

Perry Hall girls varsity soccer defeated Eastern Tech 1-0 in two overtimes on Thursday 10/16.
Erin Moran played a ball wide to a charging Melissa Placek. Placek fired a dipping shot which was parried by Eastern Tech’s keeper. Erin Moran followed to the 6 yard box and slammed the ball home for the only goal of the contest.
Perry Hall finishes the regular season with a record of 9W-2L-1T and caps off a 7 game win streak as the draw for regional playoffs approaches. Other notable regular season wins include 2-1 defeats of Hereford and Dulaney, a 4-1 victory over Towson, and a season opening 2-0 win over Patterson Mill in Harford County. Heating up as they approach the post-season Perry Hall features many players to watch. Leading scorers Rachel Bohli (10th grade) and Erin Moran(12th) are dangerous up top and seniors Melissa Placek, Lauren Hall, and Elizabeth Fitch rotate through a central midfield that dominates possession time. The gators back line is anchored by Senior captain Taylor Francis whose stellar central play and dominance in the air consistently puts her teammates back on the offensive. Maggie Lent remains a rock in goal recording 5 shut outs this season. Rounding out the list of major impact players is senior back Abby Dunkerton with steady contributions at Defensive Winger and up start freshman midfielder Summer Meisel.

Perry Hall Girls Varsity soccer defeated Dulaney by a score of 2-1 on Friday 10/10. Taylor Francis scored in the first half off a perfectly placed corner kick from Rachel Bohli. Taylor drove the ball into the goal off a back post header. Erin Moran provided the game winner in the second half as she broke away from 2 Dulaney defenders and slotted the ball past a sliding keeper. Rachel Bohli ended the day with 2 assists.
Perry Hall finishes the season with a Weds. 10/15 match up against Division rival Eastern Tech. Following Friday’s win the Gators improve to an overall record of 8W-3L-2ties and a division 1A record of 5-1.

Perry Hall Girls Varsity soccer defeated Chesapeake HS by a score of 3-0 on Weds. 10/8/14. Goals were scored by Elizabeth Fitch, Jessica Auvil, and Rachel Bohli. Summer Meisel provided the only assist of the evening.
PHHS overall record improves to 7 Wins- 3 Losses- 2 Ties

Perry Hall Girls Varsity Soccer defeated Dundalk 12-0 tonight, 10/6/14. Rachel Bohli led the scoring with 6 points in the form of 4 goals and 2 assists. Erin Moran added 2 goals and 3 assists. Elizabeth Fitch, Lauren Hall, Maggie Lent, Chloe Wynn, Jess Auvil and Summer Meisel each had 1 goal with Meisel and Wynn also adding an assist.
The Gators look to continue the winning streak this week with a match up against Chesapeake on Weds and a showdown with Dulaney at home on Friday before the Homecoming Football game.

Perry Hall improved their record to 7-2-1 by defeating Dundalk, 2-0. Denis Mabonga scored in the first half and Justin Spencer scored in the second half to give the Gators the win.
