The JV baseball team finished off their week with another dominating victory 14 to 3 over Towson. Nick Burke pitched 4 and 1/3 solid innings and Kevin Cramer finished off Towson, getting the last two outs. At the plate, the gators were led by Bryan Nguyen with two doubles and two RBI’s and Adam Kahler with two singles, a triple, and 2 RBI’s. Also contributing with hits were Brandon Yu, Alec Proulx, Kennard Gardner, and Nick Burke. The gators will try to get retribution against Eastern Tech and Catonsville next week.

Alec Meredith picks up his 4th win of the season for the Gators behind 15 hits and 15 runs.
Gator Offense: Nick Grimaldi 3 hits, 2 runs and 1 RBI
Josh Benzing 3 hits, 3 runs
Jeremiah Blake 2 hits, 2 runs and 1 RBI
Alec Meredith 2 hits and 2 RBI
Bailey Chmielewski and Nico Meisel with 2 RBI’s each
Next up for the Gators is Eastern Tech on Tuesday, April 29th at 3:45pm at Perry Hall High.

The JV baseball team had a dominating win yesterday over Dulaney 14 to 0 in five innings. Adam Kahler pitched a complete game shutout striking out 6 batters and only giving up 3 hits. The offense got off to a great start scoring five runs in the first inning with the help of a 3-run homerun by Alec Proulx. Nick Leather also added 3 hits and 3 RBI’s to bolster the offense. The team faces Towson at home today.

Patrick Watters and Alec Meredith held Catonsville to 6 hits.
Perry Hall’s offense was lead by Jeremiah Blake with 3 hits, Evan Biscoe and Jake Chavis with 2 hits.
RBIs by Nick Grimaldi, Josh Benzing, Evan Biscoe, Ryan Kahl, Jake Chavis (2) and Ryan Brady.
All nine batters scored at least 1 run for the Gators.
Next up for the Gators is Western Tech on Tuesday, April 22nd @ Perry Hall at 3:45pm.

Perry Hall 8
Perry Hall hosted the 7 – 0 undefeated Franklin team on Wednesday. After falling behind 8 – 0 after 3 innings, Perry Hall battled back to cut the lead to 9 -8 with a man on second base and 2 outs in the bottom of the 7th. The last batter hit a ground ball to the SS to end the game.
Perry Hall out hit Franklin 8 to 6 behind a 2 hit day by Josh Benzing and 2 RBI by Bailey Chmielewski.
Patrick Watters gave the gators 4.3 innings of 2 hit ball in relief.
Next up for the Gators is Hereford on Friday, April 11th at Hereford (3:45pm).

The JV Baseball team dominated Franklin yesterday with an 8-0 victory. Brandon Yu pitched a gem with a complete game shutout. He scattered 4 hits, struck out 7 and did not walk a single batter. The offense was led by Alec Proulx who had 3 hits and 4 RBI’s. Also contributing with hits were Bryan Nguyen, Adam Kahler, Zach Foertschbeck, and Kevin Lorek. The gators enter spring break with a 3 and 2 record.

Perry Hall’s goals were scored by, Sierra O’Connor with 7, Melissa Placek with 2, and Katelyn Larossa, Marley Heller, Kara Taylor each with 1. Assists were made by Katelyn Larossa (1), Elizabeth Fitch (1), Kara Taylor (1), Marley Heller (2), and Melissa Placek (2). Goalie Holly Riek had 9 saves vs the Hereford Bulls.

On 4/2 Perry Hall Boys Varsity Lacrosse lost to Loch Raven HS by a score of 14-10. Perry Hall falls to a record of 1-2.
Freshman Jack Muller was a standout on both midfield and attack for the gators.
On 4/4 Perry Hall Boys Varsity Lacrosse lost to Dulaney HS by a score 15-3. Perry Hall falls to a record of 1-3.
Despite the difference in score, Perry Hall’s defensive unit kept things close during the 1st half holding Dulaney to 2 goals in the 2nd quarter. Junior Caden Rites had a standout game in goal with several athletic saves.
Perry Hall travels to Hereford @ Hereford HS on Wednesday 4/9.

Eastern Tech had 7 runs on 5 hits.
Perry Hall had 5 runs on 6 hits.
Nick Grimaldi and Josh Benzing lead the gator offense with 2 hits each.
Jeremiah Blake added a hit and 2 RBIs.
Eastern Tech had 2-hit games from Decker and Szamski. Mack lead ET with their only 3 RBIs.
