Perry Hall Girls Varsity Soccer (5-4)
The Lady Gators were defeated by Sparrows Point HS 2-1 in overtime.
The Gators’ lone goal was scored by Tina Bishop assisted by Mellissa Placek.
Maggie Lent had a great game in goal recording 8 saves in the contest.

Perry Hall (6-2) defeated Sparrows Point 7-0 in the Henry Long Memorial game at Perry Hall High. Perry Hall used first half goals from Freshman Jack Muller, Colin Weyant, James Canoles and Nicky Jones to take a 4-0 lead in at the half. In the second half, Jones added another goal early. Kyle Gosnell and Ryan Bohli also scored for the Gators. Goalkeeper, Austin Kroll got another shut out, giving him 5 for the season.

Perry Hall Badminton had its best showing so far Wednesday evening, defeating Hereford by a score of 6 – 5, avenging a 9-2 defeat from last year.. After a late arrival due to bus issues, the Gators lost four of the first five team matches. Perry Hall rallied to win four of the next five, and clinched the win with the match of the day. The mixed doubles pair of Tatyana Worthington and Max Chassagne won a thrilling three-game match, 15-8, 9-15, 15-10. Additional wins were notched by singles players Charlotte Li, Olivia McFaul, and Mason Wu; and doubles teams of Eryn Gayle with Kayla Ross and John Hunsicker with Austin Synan. Come cheer on Gator Badminton next Wednesday in the Gator Gymnasium vs. Loch Raven at 3:45 PM.

The Lady Gators defeated Franklin HS by a score of 10-0.
Rachel Bohli led the way with 4 goals for her team leading 7. Maria Ambridge also had a great game, notching 3 goals running her total to 6.
Other goals were scored by: Sofia Perzan (3), Kara Taylor (1) & Genny Lent (2).
Sabrina Testerman led the way with 3 assists in the game.
The girls’ next game will be @ Sparrows Point HS on Thursday.

Perry Hall defeated Franklin 3-0. Matt Holtschneider opened the scoring in the 2nd minute when he headed home a corner kick from Nicky Jones. Jones also assisted Justin Ornelas in the 52nd minute and added a goal of his own a few minutes later to give the Gators (5-2) the win. Goalkeeper Austin Kroll notched his fourth shutout of the season.

Perry Hall varsity field hockey team defeated Franklin varsity field hockey team in a final score of 1 to 0. The single goal of the event was scored off of a penalty corner from #4 Cassidy Coates, from an assisted by #5 Marley Heller. The Gators are looking to continue their momentum as they play Loch Raven at Honeygo Park on Thursday at 4pm.

Our Lady Gators suffered two losses on Saturday.
2-0 vs. Belair HS & 3-0 vs. Huntingtown HS from Calvert County
No scoring information to report, but we are looking to rebound this week as we play Franklin today and Sparrows Point on Thursday.

Perry Hall Badminton defeated Woodlawn Friday by a score of 10 – 1. The match of the day was James Brewer’s three game loss by scores of 15-9, 10-15, 12-15. Singles victories came from Neel Divecha and Mason Wu. Doubles victories came from teams of Tieu-My Ton-Nu with Mary-Frances Monte and John Hunsicker with Austin Synan. Forfeit victories came in singles for Lynne Zheng, Olivia McFaul, and Rebekah Yim. Forfeit victories in doubles came for teams of Angela Ross with Lisa Huang, Alex Xhane with Alex Fields, and Tatyana Worthington with Max Chassagne.
Come cheer on the Gators this Wednesday at Hereford at 3:45 PM.

Perry Hall HS Football Alumni:
We are currently in our 50th year and celebrating by having several mini-events during the year.
The Perry Hall HS Football Alumni Salute will take place on Friday September, 27th @ 7pm in the Perry Hall Stadium.
We are asking for all past football players at Perry Hall to come out and be recognized at half time. This should be a lot of fun and a great opportunity to get caught up with some old friends.
For all PHHS Football alumni able to make it, you can report to a table that will be set up behind the school and marked Alumni Football. There you will sign in (name, number, graduation year). You will receive a ticket to get into the game. Inside the stadium there will be an area for alumni to gather together and watch the game. At halftime the PA will call you out to the field and read off everyone’s name, position, and year.
We are hopeful that all Perry Hall HS Football alumni will be able to make it! Please pass this information on to any PHHS Football alumni.
