Varsity Baseball Defeats Loyola

Perry Hall defeats Loyola 5-2

Jake Chavis strikes out 6 and allows just 2 Don hits to help secure a gator win.

The entire gator offense helped produce 5 runs.  Three players with sacrifices (Ben Libercci, Adam Kahler,Tyler Pusloski) and 2 players with multi hit games (Andrew Yu and Bailey Chmielewski). Josh Benzing and Adam Kahler contributed RBI.gatorchompcolor.jpg

Varsity Baseball Defeats Hereford

Perry Hall shuts out Hereford for the second time in as many games 6-0.

Ben Libercci pitched 6 innings of 1 hit baseball. He struck out 5. Ben went 2 for 4 at the plate to help his cause. Andrew Yu closed out pitching the 7th inning.

Josh Benzing lead the offensive attack with a grand slam in the 5th inning(his 4th HR of the season).

The gators had multi hit games from Tyler Pusloski, Ben, Jeremiah Blake, Jake Chavis(3 hits) and Pete Gaither.

Next up for the Gators: a big divisional game against Dulaney tomorrow(Wednesday) at Dulaney 3:45pm.

JV Baseball Defeats Hereford

From Coach Miller:

The Gators JV Baseball team had a stunning come from behind victory on Saturday over Hereford 7 to 6.  The team scored 4 runs in the top of the 7th inning to fight back from a 6-2 deficit.  After the gators had given up 4 runs to Hereford in the bottom of the sixth relinquishing their 3-2 lead, Noah Supensky started the inning off with a single. After a strikeout, Trevor Rogers added another single.  The team was down to their last out after a flyout but Kennard Gardner extended the game with a single and RBI.  Rex Marshall followed with another single and RBI. Wendell Williams drew a walk which loaded the bases with the Gators still trailing 6-5.  Glenn Dargan stepped up to the plate and with two strikes and the team down to their last strike, he delivered a single to right field knocking in the tying and winning runs for the gators.  It was a comeback for the ages.  Congratulations to all the players.gatorchompcolor.jpg

Varsity Baseball Defeats Hereford

The Gators shutout Hereford 7-0.

Jake Chavis pitched a complete game 4 hitter, no walks and 6 strikeouts.

The gator offense was lead by Josh Benzing 4 for 4 with a home run (3rd of the season) and 2 RBI. Ben Libercci, Jeremiah Blake and Jake Chavis had multi hit games.

Perry Hall improves to 5 – 2 with a 14-4 win over Towson.

Ben Libercci pitched 6 innings of 2 hit baseball. Jake Chavis shut the door in the 7th.

The Gator offense was lead by Josh Benzing and Andrew Yu with 3 RBI’s.
Corey Johnson and Tyler Pusloski each had multiple hit games. Josh Benzing hit a 2 run homer.

JV Baseball Falls to Catonsville 11-1

March 30 – Perry Hall 19, Bel Air 8
March 31 – Catonsville 11, Perry Hall 1

Before their first loss of the season to Catonsville yesterday, the Gators JV Baseball team defeated Bel Air 19 to 8.  In a game with many walks for both teams, the gators tight defense helped them win a game where they were out hit 11-9.  Providing hits for the gators were Rex Marshall, Kevin Cramer, Kennard Gardner, Wendell Williams, and Kendall Gardner.  The team will look to bring their record to 4 and 1 as they travel to Dulaney on Thursday.gatorchompcolor.jpg
